Saturated (2008)
In contrast to the other films where sound is used as a means to create vision, the sound for this work was created by the fluctuation of light from video feedback as translated into a sound voltage. This work offers a window into an alien eutopia which appears infinite though the borders of perception are always fluctuating. I am particularly fond of sections that appear to ‘suck you in’ as if you were tranversing depth. I look forward to further exploring this concept.

High Freq. (2008)
This was a further exploration into directing a sound feed into the input of a CRT. Through creating a system that rhythmically modulates high frequencies I achieved some of these visual effects. This work was stringently structured, organising particular aspects in a way that benefitted the composition.

Synaesthetic (2007)
Created by sending audio straight into a cathode ray tube. Rapid modulation of high frequencies creates wave-like shaping. This film was the first fully realised result of experimentation with AV systems. This was the true beginning of my work.

Horse (2010)
This was a live recording from a collaboration with Marco Cher-Gibard. The visuals were created by re-wiring a CRT television to use an amplified sound signal to control vertical and horisontal axis of the image. (PLEASE DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME! HIGH VOLTAGES IN TELEVISIONS CAN KILL EVEN WHEN NOT PLUGGED INTO OUTLET)
